An effect of ventilation on development of thermal and toxic environment in cubical enclosure fires

In the present paper, effects of ventilation on isopropanol pool fire inside confined cubical enclosure are studied. Fire experiments performed in 64 m3 under different factors ranging from 2.404 to 0.00 m5/2, i.e., full door closed door. Several parameters were studied such as heat release rate, mass loss gas temperature, centerline flame exhaust concentration, doorway velocity profile, compartment pressure, smoke production and flux experimentally quantify effect conditions.
